Clinical Psychologist jobs

Brampton Care & Rehabilitation Centre is the first in the west of Ireland to open a solely dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury unit. We are looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join us on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. There is a full MDT team on site which includes a Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Therapy Assistants.

The role of the Senior Clinical Psychologist will be to assume responsibility for psychological assessment of clients within the service, these may be residents of the ABI program or in the Residential Care Home, involved in the design and provision of rehabilitation programmes and support of clients, families, staff and others, provide professional/clinical support to other frontline professions as appropriate, and to develop new innovative responses on behalf of the Organisation. Essential Requirements:

• Hold a recognised post-graduate professional qualification in Clinical psychology
• Experience of working with adults with an acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills

Desirable:

• Post qualification experience of working with adults with an acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions
• Experience in formal neuropsychological assessments and interventions with people with neurological or other physical diagnosis
• Knowledge of the relevant disability-related legislation and standards or practice

Pay: €100,483.00-€118,111.00 per year
