Clinical Psychologist (Adult ADHD Assessments) – Fully Remote (Ireland)

Location: Republic of Ireland (Fully Remote)

Deliver Specialist ADHD Assessments — Fully Remote Across Ireland

We are launching a new Adult ADHD assessment pathway and are seeking experienced Clinical Psychologists to support high-quality, structured diagnostic assessments. This role is focused on comprehensive psychological evaluation, formulation, and reporting within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed ADHD assessments using validated psychometric tools and structured clinical interviews
  • Gather developmental history and collateral information where appropriate
  • Provide psychological formulation to support diagnostic decision-making
  • Produce clear, high-quality assessment reports with evidence-based recommendations
  • Offer psychoeducation and behavioural strategies tailored to individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with Consultant Psychiatrists, who will retain responsibility for medical diagnosis and prescribing
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in line with Irish standards

Key Differences in the Role:

  • No prescribing responsibilities
  • Focus on assessment, formulation, and psychological recommendations
  • Work as part of an MDT where medical oversight sits with a Consultant Psychiatrist

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and/or CORU
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent)
  • Experience conducting ADHD assessments in adults
  • Strong skills in psychometrics, formulation, and report writing
  • Comfortable working remotely within a structured service model

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €55 per hour
