KSG Catering is a leading provider of café, restaurant and hospitality services to a broad range of clients and blue-chip companies. Our mission is to deliver excellence in food and service to enhance the daily culinary experiences of our customers.

You can find us in 120 locations in Ireland – we serve 13 million meals per year, and we employ 1,350 skilled people across our business. We are on a fast track within the restaurant and food services industry and are seeking hard-working professionals to take us even further.

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Supervisor to join our team in the UCD Campus in Belfield, Dublin 4.

  • This is a full-time role, rostered Monday to Friday and would include evenings.
  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Candidates must have fulltime working rights in Ireland (37.5 hours/week).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Catering Supervisor
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Excellent knowledge and commitment to food hygiene best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - spoken and written
  • A team player with a hands on approach

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising staff and allocating duties
  • Ensuring the unit is presented professionally and updating displays daily
  • Assisting with weekly stock takes
  • Following delivery procedures and ensuring stock is accurate and secure
  • Adhering to food hygiene standards
  • Balance tills and process daily cash sheets
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained and PPE is used correctly
  • Assist in developing team members
  • Ensure correct break periods are observed
  • Handle customer concerns
