Full job description

KDM Construction Ltd are seeking an experienced Excavator Driver to join our team in Ballyguile, Co. Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excavator Operation: Safely operate a 360 excavator to carry out a variety of construction tasks including digging, trenching, and grading.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing and maintaining work sites, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the excavator and report any issues promptly to ensure machinery is in good working condition.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE gear provided by the company.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required by site operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience operating a 360 excavator on construction sites.
  • Certification: Must hold a valid Safe Pass and CSCS 360 Excavator card.
  • Driver's License: Must hold a valid Irish driver's license.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety.
