Experienced Barista & Hospitality Team Member (Full-Time, Permanent)

Orby’s by Lucy – The Curragh Racecourse, Co. Kildare

Looking for a long-term career, not just a summer job?

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate full-time Barista to join our growing team.

Please note: This is a permanent, year-round position. We are not recruiting for a summer or seasonal role, and this position is not suitable for applicants looking for work only until September or returning to college. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term future with our team.

About the Role

This is much more than making great coffee. You’ll play an important role within both our kitchen and front-of-house team, helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing consistently excellent specialty coffee.
  • Producing high-quality latte art.
  • Serving cakes, desserts and pastries.
  • Preparing soft drinks, juices, wines and beverages.
  • Assisting with light kitchen preparation during quieter periods.
  • Keeping the coffee, drinks and cake stations fully stocked, clean and organised.
  • Rotating stock correctly while maintaining HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Maintaining an immaculate, efficient barista station.
  • Supporting the wider team wherever required.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous professional barista experience minimum 1 year speciality coffee in full time job
  • Can confidently produce excellent latte art.
  • Works efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Takes pride in cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Has a warm, friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Is reliable, flexible and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
  • Wants a long-term, permanent role within a growing business.
