We are currently recruiting Bartender to join our excellent Food and Beverage team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, ensuring an exceptional experience at all times.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards, following company recipes, presentation guidelines, and service procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and all food and beverage offerings to confidently advise guests and make recommendations.
• Promote current specials, signature drinks, and promotional activities, maximizing sales opportunities through effective upselling.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared and served efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with the hotel's luxury service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate guest needs, and respond promptly and professionally to requests and enquiries.
• Handle cash, card payments, and billing procedures accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
• Assist with stock control, inventory management, and the replenishment of bar supplies as required.
• Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless service and create memorable guest experiences.
• Ensure all opening, closing, and cleaning duties are completed to the required standard.
• Represent the hotel's commitment to excellence by maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Key Requirements;

• Previous bartending experience within a luxury hotel or high-end bar,
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of service.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Excellent cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system skills.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and licensing regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage stock, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
