Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available | Competitive Rate Based on Experience

Longcourt House Hotel is looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team.

Whether you are looking for a full-time position or part-time hours, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established 4-star hotel where providing a warm welcome and excellent guest experience is at the heart of what we do.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, is confident dealing with guests and takes pride in providing a professional and welcoming reception service.

The Role

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be an important part of the guest experience, from the first welcome through to departure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests and completing check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Managing reservations and responding to guest enquiries by phone, email and in person.
  • Providing friendly, professional and helpful service to hotel guests and local customers.
  • Assisting guests with queries, requests and information about the hotel and local area.
  • Handling payments and reception administration accurately.
  • Liaising with housekeeping, food & beverage and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of the reception desk.
  • Dealing confidently and professionally with any issues or guest requests that arise.

About You

Previous Hotel Reception experience is essential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience working in a hotel reception role.
  • Is confident dealing with guests and handling a busy reception environment.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is friendly, professional and well presented.
  • Takes pride in providing a high standard of customer service.
  • Has good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Can work confidently on their own while also being part of a wider team.
  • Is flexible and willing to assist with additional shifts when required.

Hours of Work
