Job Description – Food and Beverage Attendant

The Royal Dublin Golf Club are looking for waiters/waitresses to join our F&B team. The role will appeal to people interested in the hospitality and golf industry. This role is well suited to people who have worked in restaurants, cafes, hotels, bars, or any hospitality areas where F&B is served.

Remuneration:
The role will pay €15.00ph with overtime on Sunday’s paid at time and third and double time on Bank Holidays. Salary can be reviewed based on level of experience.

The Club have a pension scheme where we match any contribution of the staff up to a maximum of 6%.

The Club have a private health care programme with VHI.

Responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Attendant

· Provide a warm welcome to all members and guests who enter the bar and restaurant areas.

· Serving food and beverage to guests in line with the Club’s standard operating procedures.

· Regular cleaning and clearing of tables.

· Follow up with customers in relation to the satisfaction of the food/beverage consumed and the level of service received.

· Processing payments using the till and issuing receipts to the customer.

· Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.

· Complete any HACCP training provided by the club to ensure food safety and hygiene levels are of the required standard.

Requirements of the Food & Beverage Attendant

· To be available for work Monday through Sunday and to be on duty for all major Club social and golfing events.

· Excellent customer care skills.

· Must have at least 1 years experience working in a bar, restaurant, café or hotel.
