Full job description

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team .

This is a Monday to Friday, daytime position, with no evening or late-night shifts.

This isn't just a standard kitchen porter role. We're looking for someone who understands how a professional kitchen operates, enjoys being part of a team, and is happy to get involved wherever needed. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder who can adapt quickly, multitask, and support the chefs to keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
  • Assisting with food preparation when required.
  • Receiving and organising deliveries.
  • Stock rotation and ensuring storage areas are kept tidy.
  • Supporting chefs during busy service.
  • Jumping into different roles around the kitchen as required.
  • Following food safety and HACCP procedures.

  • Previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen is essential.
