Senior Operations Coordinator
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Glasnevin, Dublin
Salary: €37,500–€42,250 depending on experience
About Codeblue
Codeblue is Ireland's leading provider of specialist event medical services, delivering medical cover to some of Ireland's largest concerts, festivals, sporting events and corporate clients.
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Operations Coordinator to join our Operations Team.
This is not a routine administration role.
You'll work directly with senior management and take ownership of a wide variety of operational, administrative and logistical responsibilities that are essential to the day-to-day running of the business.
If you're someone who enjoys structure, solving problems, making decisions and keeping multiple projects moving simultaneously, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Every day is different.
You could spend the morning preparing quotations for clients, coordinating medical resources for major events, helping solve operational issues, reviewing staff compliance records, responding to client enquiries and supporting senior management with business-critical projects.
This is a fast-paced role where priorities change regularly.
We're looking for someone who thrives in that environment rather than being overwhelmed by it.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing quotations and proposals
- Managing client enquiries
- Coordinating event staffing and resources
- Scheduling vehicles and equipment
- Supporting operational planning
- Maintaining accurate operational records
- Producing reports and spreadsheets
- Monitoring staff compliance and onboarding
- Liaising with clients and staff
- Supporting invoicing and post-event administration
- Identifying process improvements
- Providing day-to-day operational support to senior management
This role will continue to grow as the business grows.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys organising people, solving problems and keeping things moving.
You'll probably be someone who naturally takes ownership of tasks without waiting to be asked.
You'll be comfortable making decisions, prioritising your workload and managing multiple deadlines.
You should be:
- Exceptionally organised
- Highly computer literate
- Fast and accurate
- Comfortable learning new software
- An excellent communicator
- Calm under pressure
- Professional and confident
- Able to work independently
- Naturally proactive
- Someone who notices problems before other people do
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an office, administration, operations or coordination role
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable
These are advantageous but not essential:
- Operations or logistics experience
- Event industry experience
- Healthcare or emergency services experience
- Emergency First Response (EFR) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) qualification
- Experience using scheduling or workforce management software
This Role Is Probably Not For You If...
- You prefer repetitive work with the same routine every day.
- You require close supervision to stay on task.
- You struggle to prioritise multiple competing deadlines.
- You dislike learning new systems and technology.
- You prefer highly structured environments where every task is prescribed.
- You don't enjoy solving problems independently.
What You'll Receive
- €37,500–€42,500 depending on experience
- Monday-Friday
- Flexible start times
- On-site parking
- Company events
- Ongoing training
- Opportunity to progress into senior management
- A genuinely varied role where you'll have real responsibility and influence
Why Join Codeblue?
This isn't just another office job.
You'll become one of the key people responsible for keeping one of Ireland's busiest event medical providers operating smoothly.
You'll work directly with senior management, be trusted with responsibility from day one, and have genuine input into how the business develops.
We're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career rather than simply fill a vacancy.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Application question(s):
- Describe the busiest office or operations role you have worked in. What were your main responsibilities, approximately how many emails or tasks did you manage each day, and what systems or software did you use?
- Give a specific example of a day where you had multiple urgent tasks competing for your attention. How did you decide what to do first, and what was the outcome?
- This role requires someone who can quickly become a key member of a small team and work with minimal supervision. Why do you believe you are the right person for this role, and what do you think you would bring to Codeblue that other applicants may not?
