Our client is a Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company based in Mayo. They manufacture and distribute medical products worldwide.

About the role:
  • Site-Based EHS Role
  • Become part of a wider Environmental Health & Safety Team

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Communicating safety updates and concerns to the construction team
  • Arrange and manage wastewater and energy systems.
  • Develop safety programs for the site.
  • Aid in maintaining an effective EHS system.
  • Maintain EHS documentation for compliance.
  • Create, oversee EHS programs for regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and oversee EHS training programs.
  • Support training for new and existing staff.
  • Manage Environmental and Health & Safety system.
  • Oversee EHS incident management and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate internal EHS audits and inspections.
  • Manage environmental initiatives for sustainability.
  • Implement waste reduction strategies.
  • Participate in various EHS committees.
  • Ensure contractor management compliance.
  • Meet site training requirements
To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following;
  • Relevant EHS Qualification.
  • 5+ years EHS experience in Ireland & Strong Environmental Experience
  • Pharma / Life Science / Manufacturing Experience Preferred
  • Excellent communication skills.
