Full job description

Music teachers wanted to teach group keyboard as an after school activity in Primary schools 3/5 afternoons per week. We need music teachers for North and South Dublin

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated music teacher to join our team in counties around Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, proficiency in music , and a commitment to inspiring and nurturing students of all ages and skill levels. Our group classes are for children from 4 years of age. Experience in teaching groups of young children essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement our personalised lesson plans tailored to our student needs and goals.
  • Instruct students in music theory, technique, sight-reading, and performance skills.
  • Prepare students for exams, performances as required.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, expression, and musical exploration.
  • Collaborate with other music teachers and staff members
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide feedback on progress and address any concerns or questions.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in a musical instrument
  • Previous teaching experience with groups of children required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children aged 5-12
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Full Drivers licence
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
