WE’RE EXPANDING OUR FRONT OF HOUSE & CAFE TEAM

Are you outgoing, confident and great with people?

We’re looking for a people person to join our Front of House & CafE team at Fianna Athletic Club.

This is a busy, varied role. You’ll be the first person members see when they walk through the door, so being friendly, approachable and confident is important.

You’ll be checking members in, answering questions, helping with bookings and memberships, serving coffee, smoothies and acai bowls, and making sure the gym and cafe are kept to a high standard.

You’ll often have several things happening at once, so being able to multitask, stay organised and keep your head when it gets busy is a big part of the job.

THE ROLE

• Welcoming and checking in members
• Helping with member questions, bookings, memberships and general queries
• Supporting new members with gym tours and sign-ups
• Preparing and serving coffee, smoothies and acai bowls
• Managing multiple members, orders and queries at the same time
• Keeping the gym, reception and cafe clean, organised and looking its best
• Opening and closing the club and completing daily checks
• Spotting what needs to be done and getting on with it
• Working independently and taking responsibility for your shift
• Working closely with the wider team and helping out wherever needed
• Helping maintain the standards we expect across Fianna

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Outgoing and confident with people
• A people person who enjoys talking to members
• Comfortable speaking up and starting conversations
• Experienced in customer service, ideally in a busy environment
• Comfortable multitasking and dealing with different people at once
• Proactive and willing to use their initiative
• Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
• Comfortable working on their own as well as part of a team
• Interested in fitness, wellness and being part of a community

Previous barista or cafe experience is preferable.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who brings energy, professionalism and a passion in helping people.

Pay: €14.15 per hour
