Full job description

Farringtons Mill & Brewery is family run and based on a 30 acre organic farm. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team.

The position entails working independently to keep the kitchen and restaurant service continually equipped with the necessary delf and utensils required for a busy restaurant. It will also involve working alongside the other chefs to prepare food to a high level while maintaining a high standard of health and safety. The position is for a 3 day week, Friday's, Saturday's and Sundays with approximately 24 hours of work.

The suitable candidate must be reliable, have a good, kind work ethic and be an absolute team player with excellent attention to detail and understanding of the importance of cleanliness.

Requirements and skills

  • Previous employment as a Kitchen Porter and kitchen assistant is a MUST
  • Knowledge of restaurant service requirements
  • Team skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations

Job Type: Part-time
