The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Night Auditor to join our Front Office team.

Working alongside the existing Night Team, the Night Auditor is responsible for the smooth operation of the Front Desk throughout the night and plays a key role in preparing the resort for the day ahead. Reporting directly to the Night Manager, you will ensure that all guest, operational and financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, professional and personalised welcome to all guests throughout the night.
  • Manage guest arrivals, departures and overnight requests in accordance with Adare Manor standards.
  • Complete the nightly audit process, ensuring all financial transactions and reports are accurate.
  • Balance daily revenue and reconcile departmental accounts.
  • Prepare and distribute daily management and operational reports.
  • Ensure all systems and records are updated accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain the security and safety of guests, colleagues and the property during overnight hours.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Support departments across the resort as required throughout the night.
  • Ensure the Front Office area is prepared and organised for the morning operation.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, professionalism and attention to detail at all times.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a Front Office, Reception, Night Audit or Hotel Operations role.
  • Experience working in a luxury hospitality environment is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A naturally warm, engaging and professional manner.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • A proactive and guest-centric approach to service.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
