Restaurant Team Member (Full time positions are for 37 hours per week)

Principle Duties:

• To report for duty on time and dressed in the correct uniform of the Hotel Services department.
• To ensure the restaurant or conference rooms are ready for service according to Hotel Services department standards.
• To ensure staff, patients and visitors are treated with courtesy at all times.
• To perform opening and closing duties.
• To be responsible for safe cash handling.
• To adhere to all HACCP requirements.
• To ensure all food is kept in the best condition possible.
• To ensure good hand hygiene practices.
• To ensure that the restaurant, conference rooms, and storage areas are kept clean at all times.
• To ensure all equipment is kept in good working order and to report any maintenance issues.
• To work co operatively with fellow colleagues, practicing team spirit and contributing to the smooth operation of the Hotel Services Department.
• To attend training courses and meetings as required.
• To comply with the Galway Clinic regulations regarding to: Fire, Health & Safety, Hand Hygiene, Infection Control, Security & Patient Confidentiality.

Please note:

Candidates must hold a valid permit to work in Ireland

You must have a valid permit to apply for this position

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided in line with company requirements

Conversational English required
