Full job description

An Púcán are recruiting a Full Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join their award-winning team. The supervisor will lead the bar and floor team ensuring high standards are maintained and providing engaging and high-end service to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hands on approach to supervising the bar and floor; work along-side F&B assistants in serving customers.
  • Take responsibility of bar ensuring it is kept clean and tidy to the public eye and correctly stocked for service at all times.
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving customer complaints.
  • Strong communication and encouraging skills to carry out service meetings
  • Manage and monitor product quality and service.
  • Maintaining high standards.
  • Lead, support, inform and guide team members in all activities and operations.
  • Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
  • Evaluate and address issues to management and make improvements accordingly.
  • Deliver training, encouraging, coaching and on-board new hires.
  • Ensure staff are aware of any price/ offer changes and promotions.
  • Ensure the bar/restaurant are always clean.
  • Train staff on correct drink service.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards industry trends.
  • Keep up to date with current drinks industry trends.
  • Meet suppliers as they arrive and ensure it is stocked correctly.
  • Cash up tills at the end of the night – solve any discrepancies.
  • Manage bookings for guests.
  • Oversee those uniforms and presentation of staff are at the An Púcán standard.

Professional Requirements and Experience:

  • Previous working experience in a fast-paced F&B environment
  • Proven industry knowledge with whiskeys, premium gins, craft cocktails, great food and boutique wines is desirable
  • Qualification in business / hospitality is an advantage
  • Be a great team player and a leader
  • Must have fluent English verbal and written
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including late nights/evenings and weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:
