Full job description
An Púcán are recruiting a Full Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join their award-winning team. The supervisor will lead the bar and floor team ensuring high standards are maintained and providing engaging and high-end service to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hands on approach to supervising the bar and floor; work along-side F&B assistants in serving customers.
- Take responsibility of bar ensuring it is kept clean and tidy to the public eye and correctly stocked for service at all times.
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving customer complaints.
- Strong communication and encouraging skills to carry out service meetings
- Manage and monitor product quality and service.
- Maintaining high standards.
- Lead, support, inform and guide team members in all activities and operations.
- Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
- Evaluate and address issues to management and make improvements accordingly.
- Deliver training, encouraging, coaching and on-board new hires.
- Ensure staff are aware of any price/ offer changes and promotions.
- Ensure the bar/restaurant are always clean.
- Train staff on correct drink service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards industry trends.
- Keep up to date with current drinks industry trends.
- Meet suppliers as they arrive and ensure it is stocked correctly.
- Cash up tills at the end of the night – solve any discrepancies.
- Manage bookings for guests.
- Oversee those uniforms and presentation of staff are at the An Púcán standard.
Professional Requirements and Experience:
- Previous working experience in a fast-paced F&B environment
- Proven industry knowledge with whiskeys, premium gins, craft cocktails, great food and boutique wines is desirable
- Qualification in business / hospitality is an advantage
- Be a great team player and a leader
- Must have fluent English verbal and written
- Must be available to work flexible hours including late nights/evenings and weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:
