Full job description

This role will be 2-3 days of general maintenance and upkeep throughout the restaurant, kitchen, yard and grounds, with the option of additional kitchen porter shifts if desired.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months experience with a knowledge of general maintenance

Good time keeping

Must have legal working status

Ability to work at a fast pace

A positive attitude, dependable and good work ethic

Problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all jobs and tasks assigned by head chef and management are completed in a timely manner
  • Keep buildings, equipment and grounds in safe working order
  • Perform routine inspections carrying out general basic repairs where needed
  • Notify management of any repairs required by professionals, plumber, electrician etc
  • Reporting malfunction of services, equipment and any repair requirements relating to wall surfaces, floors, light fittings or wall switches, to Head chef or management
  • Ordering tools, spare parts and repair materials
  • Wearing protective clothing and footwear in accordance with Company’s directive (Uniform standards) and ensuring a very high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.

Pay: From €14.35 per hour
