Job Title: Senior Coffee Engineer

About Watermark Coffee:
Watermark Coffee is a leading B2B coffee and coffee equipment company based in Dublin. We supply premium coffee machines and equipment to cafés, restaurants, and workplaces across Ireland, delivering exceptional technical support and service. We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead our field service team and ensure our clients receive the highest standard of support.

Role Overview:
As the senior coffee engineer you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial coffee machines, while leading and mentoring a team of field technicians. You will play a key role in ensuring fast, reliable service and supporting the growth of our technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial coffee machines and related equipment.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of field technicians.
  • Diagnose technical issues and ensure rapid resolution.
  • Maintain records of all service activities and coordinate with operations and sales teams.
  • Provide expert guidance on technical matters and support client queries.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards during all technical operations.

Key Achievements / Skills:

  • Ability to mentor and develop team members while working independently.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site service visits.
  • Collaborative team spirit and proactive approach to service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with commercial coffee machines or similar technical equipment.
  • Hands-on technical experience in installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial coffee equipment (La Marzocco, Rancilio, Gaggia, Cimbali, etc.) a plus.
