Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dining team.

Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, and upholding the high standards and values of Ballymaloe House Hotel.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead and inspire the restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Manage staff training and development.

Customer Service Excellence:

Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations.

Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including reservations.

Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

Quality Control:

Uphold the highest standards in food and beverage quality, presentation, and overall dining experience.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation in the restaurant.

Sustainability Focus:

Implement and support sustainable practices in restaurant operations, in alignment with Ballymaloe's commitment to environmental responsibility.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to enhance overall guest experience and contribute to the success of Ballymaloe House Hotel.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
