Full job description

New Store Opening Operations Manager

Salary: €40,000–€50,000 per year, depending on experience and performance
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Ireland-wide travel required. Accommodation provided during new store openings.

About the Role

Namo is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced New Store Opening Operations Manager to lead the operational launch of new stores across Ireland.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for taking a new store from pre-opening preparation through to successful launch, training the management team and staff, embedding standards, and ensuring the store is operating strongly before handing it over to the Operations Manager.

During new openings, you will be based in the area of the new store, with accommodation provided. When there are no new stores being opened, you will support operations across our existing stores.

This role is best suited to someone with strong QSR or fast-casual management experience who is confident leading people, training teams, managing standards, and working on the floor during busy service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational opening of new Namo stores
  • Train new managers, supervisors, and team members
  • Work hands-on on the front line during the first 4–8 weeks of trading
  • Ensure the store is ready for opening, including team training, systems, standards, and service flow
  • Support the new management team until they are confident and capable of running the store independently
  • Monitor store performance during the opening period, including service standards, food quality, labour, cleanliness, speed of service, and customer experience
  • Identify operational gaps and fix issues quickly
  • Ensure Namo’s SOPs, brand standards, food safety standards, and customer service expectations are fully embedded
  • Complete a structured handover to the Operations Manager and store management team once the store is stable
  • Support existing stores with operational improvements when not working on a new opening

Requirements

  • Minimum management experience in a QSR, fast-casual, café, restaurant, or high-volume food service environment
  • Experience training and developing managers and team members
  • Strong hands-on operational ability
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Ability to lead from the front and set high standards
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to travel and temporarily relocate for new store openings
  • Comfortable working across different locations as the business grows

The Ideal Candidate

You are structured, energetic, and commercially aware. You know what a well-run store should look like, and you are confident building that from day one.

You do not just tell people what to do — you show them. You are comfortable jumping on the floor, coaching in real time, correcting standards, and building a strong opening team.

You will play a key role in making sure every new Namo store opens with the right culture, service standards, operational discipline, and customer experience.

What We Offer

  • Salary of €40,000–€50,000 depending on experience and performance
  • Accommodation provided during new store openings
  • Opportunity to play a key role in Namo’s expansion across Ireland
  • Career progression within a growing Irish food brand
  • A hands-on leadership role with real operational impact

Experience Required

  • QSR / fast-casual / restaurant management: minimum 2 years preferred
  • New store opening experience is an advantage
  • Staff training experience is an advantage

Apply

If you have strong food-service management experience and want to be part of a growing Irish brand, we would like to hear from you.
