Head Cook – Full-Time Position

O’Sullivan’s Bar, Crookhaven, West Cork

O’Sullivan’s Bar is a well-established destination bar located in the picturesque village of Crookhaven, West Cork. Run by the same family since 1933, we need a replacement for a long-serving Cook and Kitchen Manager. We are seeking a person to take full ownership of the kitchen and lead us through a busy and rewarding season. We trade through the year, and so the role is Full-Time, but the role varies seasonally as does the trade. In the last 4 years we have won the Restaurant Association of Ireland’s Best Pub in Cork 2022 and Best Gastro Pub in Cork 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef ready to run their own kitchen, curate their own menu, and build on our strong reputation. You are supported by a team that is well established, front and back of house. Our food style is home-cooking with a seafood focus, so a passion for working with fresh, locally sourced fish is essential.

Our bar kitchen is open for service 12-6PM 7 days a week, 12 months of the year, the role itself is a five-day week, supported by an established team.
