Full job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our friendly and professional Food and Beverage Team. You must be flexible with hours and available to work mid-week daytime and evenings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a high-class restaurant or 4-star hotel is essential.
  • A high level of customer service is essential.
  • Fluent English

As a Food and Beverage Associate, you will be required to work in any of our F&B outlets and deliver an excellent customer service. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Have the ability to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Bistro, and Conference & Events including our wedding functions.
  • Welcome all guests in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Take and deliver customer orders and requests consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
  • Prepare and set up tables in any area of the operation assigned on a working day including service areas for events and or meeting rooms.
  • Follow cash handling procedures.
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Up-sell with latest departmental incentives.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
