The Keadeen Hotel is currently recruiting enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team on a fixed-term contract for the busy Christmas and New Year season.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a welcoming and professional team during one of the most exciting times of the year.

Successful candidates will work across our food and beverage outlets, including our restaurants, bars, private functions, Christmas parties and banqueting events.

The Keadeen Hotel is a leading four-star, family-owned hotel in the heart of County Kildare and part of the Calusade Hotels collection.

Renowned for our beautiful gardens, excellent food and warm hospitality, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, friendly and professional service to all guests.
  • Assist with the daily operation of our restaurants, bars and banqueting facilities.
  • Provide food and beverage service during Christmas parties, festive dining, private functions and other events.
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
  • Respond to guest requests and queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Work closely with supervisors, managers and colleagues to ensure smooth service.
  • Support the team during busy service periods while maintaining our high standards of hospitality.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar or similar hospitality environment is desirable.
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Friendly, confident and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Reliability, flexibility and a proactive approach.
  • Availability to work throughout the full contract period, from 16th November 2026 to 4th January 2027.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays, including over the Christmas and New Year period.
  • Midweek availability is essential.
  • Applicants must be aged 18 years or over due to the essential requirements of the role, including duties associated with the sale and service of alcohol and late-night shifts, which may finish after midnight.
