Full job description

Opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Chef to work within a friendly family and local business in the heart of Allenwood village.

The ideal candidate will be flexible with a can-do attitude, being able to work with the management team in driving the business forward. The ultimate goal being to expand our clientele and reputation to ensure long term success. Ability to work within a positive team orientated atmosphere.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure a high standard of food quaility , presentation and service.
  • To assist the head chef in creating menus and bringing new ideas to the table
  • Adhering to the rules of Health and Safety
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • To lead, motivate, mentor and develope the kitchen team
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor stock control
  • Detailed knowledge of HACCP required
  • Must be flexible with working weekends, Flexible shifts available from 8am to 10pm Monday to Sunday
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
