Full job description

 To ensure the bar & restaurant department runs smoothly while on duty.

Must be over 18 years of age

Must be able to work both weekdays and weekends

 To ensure continuous on the job training is scheduled and carried out and signed off with all members of the bar & restaurant team.

 To strive for customer satisfaction at all times while on duty.

 To handle customer complaints in a professional manner and according to hotel procedure.

 To deal with staff issues and complaints when required.

 To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.

 To wear correct uniform and name badge at all times while on duty.

 To be present and punctual for all in house training programmes.

 To abide by the hotels health, safety and environmental procedures and practices.

 To report any health, safety or environmental hazards within the hotel.

 To ensure all members of the bar & restaurant team adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and practices.

 To maintain a positive, friendly attitude with both hotel guests and your colleagues.

 To participate in all relevant internal training.

 Option of serving on committees within the Hotel.

 To assist in other departments if necessary.
