Food & Beverage Assistant

Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown – Dublin 15

Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown is a contemporary four-star, 155-bedroom hotel and conference centre located in Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15. We are committed to delivering exceptional guest service standards across our restaurant, bar and banqueting operations.

We are currently recruiting a full-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our professional and service-driven hospitality team.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will support the daily operation of our restaurant, bar and event service areas, ensuring guests receive efficient, friendly and professional service at all times.

This is a hands-on hospitality role suited to someone who thrives in a busy hotel environment and takes pride in presentation, teamwork and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of food and beverage service in restaurant, bar and event settings
  • Ensure hotel service standards are achieved consistently
  • Maintain excellent personal presentation, hygiene and uniform standards
  • Provide professional and attentive guest service at all times
  • Support smooth service during busy periods and functions
  • Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure efficient operations
  • Follow all health, safety and HACCP procedures

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant, Waiting Staff or Bar Staff in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional presentation and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and strong level of English
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

Desirable

  • Experience in banqueting or conference service
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Experience in a four-star hotel environment
