Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals with retail management or supervisory experience who are looking to pivot into technology or someone who has retail experience and has gained experience in a I.T Support company.

As an IT Support Technician, you will receive comprehensive training to succeed in providing installation, troubleshooting, and support for retail technology systems. You’ll also have opportunities to develop project management skills while working in a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide professional and friendly IT support to retail clients.

· Install, configure, and support retail technology solutions (training provided). This includes on-premise and cloud-based point of sale software, inventory management and system integration.

· Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, utilising your retail problem-solving expertise.

· Manage helpdesk support tickets and escalate complex issues as needed.

· Participate in project implementations, contributing to planning and execution.

· Document troubleshooting steps and create user-friendly knowledge base articles.

· Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client IT operations.

· Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Foster and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

Essential:

· Fluent in English (written and spoken).

· A strong interest in Technology - you should have an understanding if technology and systems.

· Must be a resident of Ireland, with no restrictions or requirements.

· Demonstrated interest in technology (e.g., using tech systems in retail, personal tech projects, technical qualifications etc.).

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations as required.

Desirable:

· Experience with POS systems, e-commerce platforms, or retail software is a plus.

· Familiarity with basic IT concepts such as troubleshooting, networks, or SQL.

· An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €28,000.00-€34,000.00 per year
