Full job description

We at RFC Security Group are happy to announce that we are currently seeking a professional and experienced Door Supervisor to join our ever-expanding team.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property within a high-profile DSP environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers professionally while monitoring access to the venue
  • Check IDs, enforce age restrictions, and refuse entry where appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with venue capacity and health & safety regulations
  • Monitor crowd behaviour and proactively manage potential conflict situations
  • Prevent and respond to incidents of disorderly conduct, theft, or antisocial behaviour
  • Carry out regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence
  • Liaise with venue management and Gardaí when required
  • Complete incident reports and log entries as necessary
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining authority and control

Requirements:

  • Valid PSA 01. B Door Security Personnel (DSP) Licence – essential
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills
  • Calm under pressure with a professional and respectful demeanour
  • Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
  • Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable:

  • Certified in basic first aid or physical intervention (advantage)
  • Knowledge of relevant Irish licensing and public order laws
