Role purpose

The Head of IT is responsible for leading Aurivo’s technology function across infrastructure, cybersecurity and enterprise systems. The role is critical to delivering the Group’s digital transformation agenda and AI strategy, including the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP while ensuring secure, resilient and scalable IT operations across all sites.



Operational environment

Aurivo operates across 44 locations including retail stores, manufacturing sites, marts and distribution, supporting approximately 700 employees. IT is mission-critical to daily operations, requiring strong governance, reliability and stakeholder engagement.



Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver IT strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Drive and support ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) implementation and optimisation.
  • Ensure high-availability infrastructure across multi-site operations.
  • Manage cybersecurity, risk, compliance and data protection.
  • Lead, develop and motivate the IT team.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendors and external partners.


ERP programme leadership

  • Partner with the ERP Project Manager and the Steering committee to lead end-to-end delivery of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP programme, ensuring strong governance, business alignment, stakeholder engagement and successful adoption across all functions.


Infrastructure and operations

  • Ensure resilient, high-performing IT/OT systems supporting manufacturing, retail, logistics and shared services operations including cloud and on-premise environments.


Cybersecurity and compliance

  • Define and maintain a strong cybersecurity position, including identity management, network protection, disaster recovery and regulatory compliance.


Leadership and stakeholder engagement

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Executive and operational teams, translating business needs into technology solutions and ensuring clear communication across all levels.


Experience required

  • 10+ years’ IT experience with leadership responsibility.
  • Proven ERP transformation delivery.
  • Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments.
  • Strong infrastructure and systems knowledge.
  • Third level qualification in an IT/technology discipline.
