About the Role

ConServ Event Specialists are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic AV Technician to join our growing technical team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation, installation, operation, and breakdown of professional audiovisual systems across a wide range of corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies, hybrid events, and live productions.This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading technology and become part of a highly respected Audio Visual events production company with nearly four decades of experience delivering exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, test, and maintain AV equipment prior to events.
  • Install, configure, and operate professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems.
  • Support the delivery of live, hybrid, and virtual events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently during setup and live event operation.
  • Assist with equipment loading, unloading, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Work closely with project managers, producers, and fellow technicians to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and crew when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an AV Technician or Event Production Technician role.
  • Full clean EU driving licence.
  • Comfortable driving company vans.
  • Strong knowledge of professional AV systems and event production workflows.
  • Experience working with audio, video, presentation, and event technology equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and variable shifts as required.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with live streaming, hybrid event platforms, and virtual event technologies.
  • Knowledge of digital audio consoles and video switching systems.
  • Experience with lighting systems and control platforms.
  • C Licence (truck licence) would be an advantage.
  • Relevant AV, networking, or production certifications.
  • Experience leading small technical crews on-site.
