Location: Phibsborough, Dublin 7
Pay Rate: €18 - €20 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: 5 nights per week (late-night shifts)

Head of Security – Experienced Venue Security Manager Required

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Head of Security to lead and manage the security operation at a busy late-night venue in Phibsborough, Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated security professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing door security teams in a licensed hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage a medium-sized team of door supervisors.
• Ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, and premises at all times.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Oversee staff deployment, performance, and training.
• Manage incident reporting and ensure compliance with venue policies and licensing requirements.
• Liaise with venue management, emergency services, and local authorities when required.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement security procedures.
• Handle challenging situations calmly and effectively while maintaining a safe environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior security management role within the late-night hospitality sector.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing door security teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-management skills.
• Experience dealing with high-volume venues and busy nightlife environments.
• Excellent organisational and reporting abilities.
• Valid PSA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
• Flexible availability to work late nights and weekends.
