EverPower Limited are looking for an individual who has excellent experience and relish a challenge to join our growing team.

A Solar PV Project Manager – Commercial Projects involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) commercial projects.

There is a 6 months probation period for the successful candidate before they have a permanent contract with the company.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Managing project scope, ensuring all aspects are completed on time and within budget
  • Identifying and mitigating potential project risks.

Stakeholder Liaison:

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, contractors, suppliers, and authorities
  • Providing regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders
  • Ensuring effective communication and coordination among all parties involved.

Site Investigations and Feasibility Studies:

  • Conducting site investigations to assess the suitability of land for solar farm development
  • Conducting feasibility studies to determine the viability of solar farm projects.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Preparing and managing project budgets
  • Allocating resources effectively to ensure project goals are met
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk.

Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications
  • Developing and implementing quality control and assurance processes
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.

Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Creating a handover document for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team
  • Ensuring a smooth transition from construction to O&M.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for effective stakeholder management and project delivery.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and knowledge of solar energy systems are beneficial.

Education/Experience:

  • Education: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
