About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join EverPower’s growing engineering team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of solar PV, wind, and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead electrical engineering design for solar PV, wind farm, and BESS projects

- Design and review High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems including protection, earthing, and cable sizing

- Support development and integration of substations and grid connection infrastructure

- Interface with ESB Networks and relevant stakeholders to ensure grid compliance

- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports

- Ensure compliance with Irish grid codes, safety standards, and industry regulations

- Support commissioning and troubleshooting of renewable energy systems

- Assist in feasibility studies, tendering, and EPC project delivery

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status

- Member of Engineers Ireland (MIEI/CEng)

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Irish renewable energy market

- Proven experience with:

· Solar PV systems (commercial and utility-scale)

· Wind farm electrical infrastructure

· Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

· HV/LV electrical design and analysis

· Substation design and grid connections

- Strong understanding of Irish grid standards and ESB requirements

- Experience with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVcase)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

- Experience working within an EPC contractor environment

- Knowledge of SCADA and control systems

- Project management or site delivery experience
