Full job description

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Digital Lead to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the use of digital technology to transform a traditional but fast growing manufacturing business.

You will be instrumental in supporting key projects that drive our company forward.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be actively involved in four core areas :

  • Management of all accounts and stock control software and its better integration into all aspects of the business
  • Establishing digital systems for improved production and packing scheduling and also improved product traceability and food safety record keeping
  • Organising the substantial internal labelling generated in the business and training staff in accessing and operating the associated hardware and software of these labels once setup.
  • Establishing e-commerce software to assist in implementing the entry of the business into direct e-commerce selling of its products and then using data analytics tools to assist in significantly growing online sales
  • Establishing customer service software to improve communications with key customers on progress of orders placed

Combined, these new and improved uses of digital technology will transform internal processes, improve business competitiveness, improve customer service provision and make the business more efficient.

A knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and how they can be integrated into all aspects of the digital transformation of the business is desirable.
