Full job description

Avoca operates in 13 locations across the country. After all this time, the ethos of Avoca remains the same. We are now heralded as one of Ireland's most exciting retail stores, with a host of award-winning cafes, restaurants and food markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far.


We are recruiting for experienced Counter Assistants to work on a permanent part-time basis (16 hours per week) in our location at Avoca Malahide. This position is for an immediate start and the candidate must be flexible.


Duties include:

  • Customer Service - A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
  • Barista - making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
  • Till use - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
  • Running tables/table service
  • Replenishing stock, ensuring the department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
  • Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
  • Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standards
  • Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager
