We're looking for a skilled, friendly Senior Barista with a love for coffee and a talent for creating an exceptional customer experience. This role is perfect for someone who is ready to bring their expertise to our team and help Tilly’s become a community favourite.

Job Description:

As a Senior Barista at Tilly’s, you’ll be responsible for expertly preparing and serving coffee beverages, managing daily operations within the café area, and ensuring every customer has a great experience. Your role will involve assisting in training junior staff and upholding the highest quality standards. You’ll be a key part of establishing Tilly’s as the go-to spot in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere for customers and team members alike.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the café area, including equipment upkeep.
  • Manage daily operations, including stock checks and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, sharing skills and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a barista, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Expert knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine maintenance.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability on weekends and flexibility in scheduling is a plus.
