As demand continues to grow, we are seeking an ambitious and technically minded Energy Advisor to join our expanding team.

THE ROLE

This is a field-based technical and customer-facing role focused on helping homeowners identify and implement energy-saving upgrades.

You will act as the customer's trusted advisor, guiding them through the survey, quotation and decision-making process.

Initially, the role will focus heavily on Solar PV systems before expanding into other energy efficiency measures including insulation, ventilation & heating.

Unlike traditional sales roles, this position combines:

  • Customer consultation
  • Technical surveying
  • Proposal preparation
  • Sales conversion
  • Pre-installation validation

The successful candidate will typically complete 2–4 customer appointments per day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct customer consultations and site visits
  • Carry out technical surveys of domestic properties
  • Assess suitability for Solar PV and other retrofit measures
  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals
  • Explain SEAI grants, expected savings and available options
  • Follow up on quotations and opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records within QSmart CRM
  • Liaise with technical, design and operations teams
  • Support customers throughout the sales journey
  • Achieve agreed sales and conversion targets
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role would suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working with people and wants to develop a long-term career within the renewable energy sector.
